What We Do

Of the approximately 74,300 residents in our county, as many as 14,860 may be diagnosed with a mental health condition such as bipolar, major depression, schizophrenia, or post traumatic stress disorder. NAMI Hancock County offers FREE educational support services to anyone dealing with a mental health condition, ages 8 and up. We also offer support groups for individuals living with someone who has mental health conditions. Thanks to our donors and volunteers, our programs are provided FREE of charge to the community.  All of our groups and classes are peer-led by individuals that are living with a mental health condition or has a family member with a mental health condition.

What can NAMI do for you? Educate, offer support, advocate, give you a voice, create awareness, help you grow, fight the fear, form friendships, create connections, share a promise, silence the stigma and experience recovery.
