CIT Responder of the Year Nomination
WHAT IS CIT?
A Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) response is designed to help persons with mental health conditions and/or addictions access medical/mental health treatment, rather than place them in the criminal justice system due to illness related behaviors. If you find yourself in a crisis situation, call 911 and ask for a CIT officer!
For more information, visit CIT International or NAMI.

NAMI Hancock County supports CIT training in our area, and we give out a "First Responder of the Year Award" every year at our annual Suicide Prevention Vigil and Butterfly Release in September. We need YOU to nominate a first responder that has demonstrated exemplary service.
