NAMI Hancock County

Suicide Vigil

Mental Health Fair

September is National Suicide Awareness month.

In honor of National Suicide Awareness month NAMI Hancock County will host a Suicide Vigil on September 15th, 2019, from 3-5 PM. The goal of this event is to raise awareness and promote education on suicide warning signs and prevention techniques. Plans for the event include the dedication of a butterfly garden, a butterfly release, live music, CIT officer awards, and several speakers.

As part of this event we will have an area for a Mental Health Fair. Please accept our invitation to partner with us in preventing suicides. This event will be an opportunity for you to introduce your services to the community and connect with them on an individual basis.

There is no charge for this event. We are asking you to provide any educational material or informational brochures you may have. If you would like to participate, please complete the Exhibitor Registration form below.
